1. In your own words explain briefly the process for the issuance of
Endorsement/Recommendation Letter by the Onboard Training Office, For
those students who wish to undergo Onboard Training to various
manning/shipping agencies, and what is the relevance of the TRB and
why it is necessary? 30 Pts.
Students desiring to undertake Onboard Training from manning/shipping
companies who have sought an Endorsement/Recommendation Letter will be
issued an Endorsement/Recommendation Letter by the Onboard Training
Supervisor to aid them with their application on their particular manning or
agency.
The Training Record Book (TRB) is an important document aboard since it
provides detailed information on the tasks and responsibilities that will be done on
board and during the completion process. It is used as documentary evidence by
trainees to government-appointed assessors that they have completed a
professionally planned aboard training program, making it a vitally valuable
document when onboard.
