Intended Learning Outcomes

At the end of the learning unit, students must have:
1. groups objects in ones, tens, and hundreds
2. visualizes and counts numbers by 10s, 50s, and 100s
3. reads and writes numbers up to 1 000 in symbols and in words
Possible authentic/ outcomes – based assessment
1. Assessment for ILO 1
● Give the students four problems, and allow them to work in groups to solve
the problems. For example, two hundreds, one ten, and five ones, one
hundred, three tens, and seven ones, three hundreds, two tens, and five
ones, and one hundred, one ten, and zero ones.
● Assess the students' worksheets. Conference with students who scored low,
and make sure that they are placing the digits into the correct categories.
Provide reinforcement by assigning homework or another opportunity to
master the concept.

2. Assessment for ILO 2

● Give students a worksheets and let them answer counting numbers by 10s,
50s 100s. Group the classroom and give a problem solving sets and

3. Assessment for ILO 3

● Give worksheet about reads and writes numbers up to 1 000 in symbols and
