LEARNING
OBJECTIVES By the end of the lesson, pupils should able to write a suitable paragraph of
prediction about the story. C: pupils will be able to spell at least 5 words
correctly.
SUCCESS CRITERIA 1. Pupils read and answer questions.
2. Pupils identify the moral value and ang guess the ending of the story.
LESSON OUTLINE:  Pupils are informing the lesson objectives.
SET INDUCTION Pre
(STARTER) 1. The word tunnel is written on the board and pupils are asked if they
know what it means.
While
MAIN ACTIVITIES 1. Pupils refer to textbook page 72 to read the story The secret tunnel.
2. Track 15 is played to guide pupils to read the story.
3. Pupils are asked about the characters and a few comprehension questions
frame by frame.
CLOSURE (PLENARY 4. The value of the story is explained.
5. Pupils are explained about the story of the tunnel. Pupils create their own
prediction of what the tunnel story might be.
6. Teacher shows a sample write up.
