“The universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper”

Einstein was born in Ulm in southwestern Germany on March 14, 1879. The bright mind
who unraveled some of fascinating secrets of the universe. The man who was influential
enough that even though he died, his contributions continue to solve or be a part to some
complex discoveries. Well, smart enough to the point that his brain after he died was
studied and analyzed. His complex imaginations and realizations all started in a measly
compass. During his childhood when he was sick, his father gave him a compass. Einstein
during that time was fascinated and mesmerized of how compass works. He thinks that
why was the arrow of the compass continues to point in a certain direction even though
he shifted his position? This made him realized that all things in the universe must be
backed up by some hidden solutions and explanations. So, this starts with his journey in
the path of physics. According to his biographers, he failed his math. But it was contrary
on what Einstein said that he already mastered differential and integral calculus at the
age of 15. Einstein hated school. He hated the idea that success depends on
memorization and obeying authority.
When he moved to Switzerland, he tried to get admitted to the prestigious institution but
failed. He did good in math and physics but done horrible in language, botany, and
zoology. Leaving him no choice but to continue his high school studies. He was a good
student, earning the highest possible grade of many different subjects. In 1901, Einstein
received his diploma to teach physics and math, but struggled in finding a job. Eventually
he worked in an office in Bern for 7 years. It was said that it was blessing on disguised
for Einstein. During his work in office, he had an ample of time to continue his various
science research that according to him, his life purpose.1905, was said to be Einstein’s
years of miracle. He wrote four papers in German scientific journal, that changed of how
we perceived the universe. The first was his theory of light, physicist at that time believed
that light was a wave. Einstein proposed that was made up of a stream of particles called
photons, and these photons could knock an electron off an atom to create a current. Also
known as photoelectric effect. His second paper was all about the existence of atoms.
And his third and also most famous discovery, the special theory of relativity. In which its
impossible to say if two events occurred at the same time if those events are separated
in space. Relativity is the basis of the world’s most famous formula, the E=mc^2. The
fourth paper gives us this equation, meaning that the "Energy equals mass times the
speed of light squared." On the most basic level, the equation says that energy and mass
(matter) are interchangeable.
These theories revolutionized the present arithmetic world. From these equations,
presenting different notable theories and ideas that greatly changed of how we see the
reality. These are all made realized by the great genius, Einstein. He died on April 18,
1955. Because of aortic aneurysm rupture. He refused surgery because according to him
“It is tasteless to prolong life, its time for me to go.” Minutes before he died, he rumbled
few words in German, but sadly, the nurse at that time did not understand German. And
because of that, his last words were not heard and were drifted away in our history. Albert
Einstein was without a doubt, a pioneering and a genius individual who constructed
theories that revolutionized of how we perceived our universe and made a great deal of
contributions. Hence, he will be remembered as one of the greatest geniuses in our
history whose works will surely lives on, forever.
