The bar chart present about the proportion of female school-leavers going into higher

education in five different countries (UK, USA, Canada, Japan, Germany) between 1970 and

2005.

Overall, the proportion of women going into higher education in five countries for the years

1970 and 2005 follows upward trends over the period shown. Except Canada and the percentage

is the same for both years.

At the top is Canada with the highest percentage of women going into high school in both

1970 and 2005 (60%). From 1975 to 2005 the proportion of women going into high school in the

UK and the US tended to increase (from 35% to 60%) and (from 40% to 58%). In Germany

growth from about 50% to less than 60%. Japan has the lowest percentage of women going into

high school compared to other countries in both years. In 1970 it was about 20% and in 2005 it

was about 40%.

In recent years, many people choose to live in a private house. While there are some obvious

advantages to this trend, I would argue that living in a house is more advantageous than living in

an apartment.

Firstly, because living in a house has more privacy than living in an apartment. You will not

be afraid that if you make a noise, the house next door will hear it. Living in a house will have

more space than an apartment. Residents can do whatever they like with their house without

disturbing the neighbors such as rebuilding their house or simply planting more trees in the

garden. Second, people who live in a house don't have to pay for construction services so they

can save a lot of money. For example, my family has both a house and an apartment in the city.

We have to pay monthly for apartment service, while no fee is applied to the house.

Although living in an apartment still has advantages such as. It is very convenient for

residents living in apartments in a complex building, which offers a wide range of goods and

services, thanks to the commercial and service centers on the ground floor. Moreover, living in

an apartment is safer. That's because the surveillance camera system is installed everywhere in
the building to ensure the security of residents, especially those who often go on long business

trips.

In summary, although I recognize the advantages of living in an apartment, it seems to me

that living in a house has more impact.
