EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. MY-02


Series of 2022

AN ORDER EXTENDING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ALERT LEVEL 1 FOR


COVID-19 RESPONSE IN THE PROVINCE OF ABRA

WHEREAS, on Sunday, May 15, 2022, the Inter-Agency Task Force for the
Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) placed many areas across the
country, including the Province of Abra, under Alert Level 1 for the period covering
May 16 to 31, 2022;

NOW THEREFORE, I, MARIA JOCELYN VALERA BERNOS, Governor of the Province


of Abra, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order the extension
of the implementation of Alert Level 1 for Covid-19 Response in the Province of
Abra from May 16-31, 2022, and that the guidelines provided under Executive
Order No. MR-03 series of 2022 is hereby reiterated, unless further extended,
modified, or earlier withdrawn.

Further, the Travel Protocols stated therein including interzonal public


transportation shall continue to be implemented during the implementation of Alert
Level 1.

Furthermore, all Municipal Anti-COVID-19 Task Force shall strengthen its campaign
on the COVID-19 vaccine amongst its constituents and shall continuously put effort
to vaccinate and administer booster shots to all eligible population within their
respective jurisdiction.

Finally, the Provincial Information Office, all Municipal Mayors, all members of the
Provincial and Municipal Anti-COVID 19 Task Force, all Punong Barangays, and all
others concerned are hereby directed to cause the widest dissemination of this Order.

This Order shall take effect immediately.
