My Weakness Point Became My Lifestyle

When I was a teenager, I weighed 70 kg. My weight increased since I have gone through

bullying in high school. I also was not interested in the guidance of people around me even my

mother's. However, something happened that changed everything.

Once, during a class, a group of doctors from the Ministry of Health called students who

are more likely to be obese in class. Sadly, the doctor called my name; then the teacher pointed

at me. Embarrassed, I felt at that Hme. Soon, I followed her and she started taking my vital

signs. But aIer taking my blood pressure, the doctor screamed as if there was a murder. I

immediately realized I had a problem. LiKle by liKle, I started panicking over my health. How

much Hme do I get to live? Bad thoughts began to wander in my head. Later, the doctor gave me

a paper addressed to the teacher with an incomprehensible handwriHng. (Rima must go to the

hospital. Inform her parents!), she wrote. My shoulders hunched from fear; so I asked her:

“what’s wrong?”. “Nothing.”, she replied. I rushed back to hand it to the teacher. Later, my

mother took me straight to the hospital. There, tests showed I had diabetes along with chronic

diseases. AIer that incident, I began to listen to my mother’s advice, thus, I changed my habits

to a healthy lifestyle. Now, I am a famous influencer offering training courses in various health

topics.

Finally, bad events can yield good results. Accordingly, my weight problems made me

take care of my body. I used my weakness as a moHve to improve my lifestyle. In conclusion, I

think my weaknesses can turn to strengths only if I work on them and listen to my parents’

instrucHons.
