1. Overtime- The existing employees are overloaded with the work meeting
the short term fluctuations in work volume. The employees are benefitted
in the form of higher pay and the employer’s cost of recruitment and
selection etc. can be avoided.
2. Sub-Contracting- To meet a sudden increase in demand for its products
and services, the firm may sometimes go for subcontracting.
3. Outsourcing- The purchase of a value creating activity from an external
supplier known as outsourcing. It’s better to outsource the things to
someone who specialize in that area.
4. Temporary Employees- Employees hired for a limited time to perform a
particular job.
5. Employee leasing- Employees leasing firm recruits, train, and
compensates employees. Work supervision, and routine works are taken
care of by this firm.
