Patience

This school year I have been working hard to improve my patience. I believe

having patience is really important in school and in life. Group work while I am in class

can be overwhelming and sometimes I can be very impatient when I am working with

other people.

At the beginning of the year I would get frustrated and sometimes it would show,

but while I’m in class now I take a deep breath and take a second to recoup. When I

was working in my lab group in science I started to get very overwhelmed and impatient

with my group members, because they were asking many questions all at once. I took a

deep breath and asked each one of my group members what their question was so I

could answer them one at a time.

Patience is such an important skill to have in the present and in the future to not

get irritated, or angry quickly, along with being able to control it. Being patient is what

makes you calm and flexible if plans get postponed or if you have to wait for someone

or something.
