(b) What is your observation about the rate of such changes occurring in Bangladesh?
1) The rate of adoption of smart TV’s has been the highest in the last 5 years among the changes
observed.
2) The adoption of LED and LCD TV’s are closes second to them.
3) The change in perception of TV as a necessity happened a lot in the beginning of 2010 itself
and it is been established as a norm by 2016-2018.
4) Talking TV as main stream of display for purposes other than entertainment started as recently
as 2018.
5) The population is very slowly moving towards owning 2 TV’s per household and this is the
slowest change out of observed 5 points.
6) In the pandemic situation, 2020-2022 Television became the largest industry.
7) Before people think about the normal one for basic use but now it is showing a class people
who are passionate about their home.
8) The television industry contributes a large amount to Bangladesh's economy.
