Examination in Academic Writing

I. Why are URLs not necessary on the Works Cited page?

Bring arguments to support your answer! (300 words)

URLs are an important part of bibliography for any presentation and essays .
Plagiarism is the act of taking someone else’s work or ideas as your own.
Plagiarising someone else’s work lower academic standards. If we refer to
Work Cited section URLs are not necessary.
MLA requires the www. Adresses so are eliminated the http. In conclution
URLs are not necessary part.
II. How would you structure an essay entitled, "Students Who Plagiarize Should Be
Expelled"? ( 600 words)

I heard about this term before I’ve start the college, I heard it also in high
school and not day by day in life, but when the people in your country are doing
this, well yeah, you hear it a lot at news. In high school some teachers were
trying to tell us that in college, is not going to be so easy to use copy-paste,
because the teachers will check our homeworks to see if they are
100% originals. Since they were trying to do this, the told us to always put a
source from where we got the informations. Meanwhile, at college I observed
that we learned about how to citate the informations used in our
essays, homeworks, etc. When we have to do an essay as homework, we know
certainly that we’ll need some information to get a start. Yes, no one is saying
that we connot use information from internet, but we must put our source at the
end of our work. There are so many ways in which we can do that and how as
we can find this on internet. I believe that the plagiarism is such an actual
problem nowadays because no one is trying to speak to people about it and well
that’s why many students do their homeworks and the teachers are not taking
them into consideration. Plagiarism could be avoided easily if in ouschools
would be someone to explain this to the students.
About this subject could be said many things but from my opinion, this is the
best way and da easier one to avoid the plagiarism. Plagiarism can cause a
student to be suspended or expelled because some schools and universities take
plagiarism very seriously. Cheating in the classroom have always been difucult
for educational system because is problematic.
