Legal Information
Limited warranty
ZTE warrants that, for one year from the date of delivery by ZTE to purchaser's designated
carrier, the Equipment will remain free from defects in design, material and workmanship
under normal use and service and will conform in all material respects to the applicable
specifications set forth in purchase order or agreement; ZTE does not warrant that
operation of the Equipment will be error-free or uninterrupted.
In accordance with ZTE's standard, warranty terms, ZTE shall, at its option, repair or
replace any defective or nonconforming item, provided that (a) purchaser/End User gives
ZTE written notice of the defect or nonconformity within the warranty period specified above
promptly after Reseller is notified by the End User of the same; and (b) End User returns
the defective item at its expense to ZTE's nominated Customer Service Department in
accordance with ZTE's standard parts exchange procedures.

This warranty does not apply to defects or errors in the Equipment caused by: (a)
reasonable abrasion of equipments; (b)End User's failure to follow ZTE's installation,
operation or maintenance instructions or procedures; (c) End User's mishandling, misuse,
negligence, or improper installation, uninstall, storage, servicing or operation of the
Equipment; (d) modifications or repairs not made by ZTE or a ZTE-certified individual; (e)
power failures, surges, fire, flood, accident, actions of third parties or other events outside
ZTE's reasonable control. (f) usage of products of third Parties, or usage conjunction
with third parties provided that such defects is due to the conjunction; (g) any other
cause beyond the range of normal usage for equipments. End User shall assure that
Equipment is installed and maintained by ZTE or ZTE-certified individuals in accordance
with ZTE's certification procedures; provided that if End User causes or permits services
to be provided by individuals who are not ZTE-certified, the Warranty shall be void as to
all Equipment serviced in breach of this sentence. End User shall have no right to reject,
return, or receive a refund for any Equipment from ZTE. Any item repaired or replaced by
ZTE shall continue to be warranted for longer of the remainder of the original warranty
period or 90 days from the date the repaired or replaced part is delivered to the carrier.
THIS WARRANTY (1) IS END USER'S SOLE REMEDY AND ZTE'S SOLE LIABILITY
FOR DEFECTIVE OR NONCONFORMING ITEMS , AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, UNLESS OTHERWISE REQUIRED UNDER THE
MANDATORY PROVISIONS OF THE CHINESE LAW, AND (2) IS BETWEEN ZTE
AND END USER (AS THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER FOR END USE) AND MAY NOT
BE TRANSFERRED OR ASSIGNED, BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE,
WITHOUT ZTE'S PRIOR WRITTEN CONSENT.

Limitation of Liability
ZTE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL,
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM OR ARISING
OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH USING OF THIS PRODUCT, WHETHER OR
NOT ZTE HAD BEEN ADVISED, KNEW OR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN OF THE
POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOST
PROFITS, COST OF CAPITAL, COST OF SUBSTITUTE FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT,
ANY DOWNTIME COSTS OR CLAIMS OF END USERS. THE LIABILITY OF EACH
PARTY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, WHETHER ARISING OUT OF BREACH OF
CONTRACT (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BREACH OF WARRANTY) OR
TORT (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE AND STRICT LIABILITY)
OR UNDER AN INDEMNIFICATION PROVISION SHALL IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE
AGGREGATE AMOUNT BENIFITED BY ZTE IN THE PRODUCTS FROM WHICH SUCH
LOSS OR DAMAGE DIRECTLY AROSE.

Confidentiality
End User agrees that End User will receive confidential or proprietary information
('Confidential Information') in connection with the purchase and deployment of ZTE
Equipment. End User will not disclose ZTE's Confidential Information, will use it only for
purposes for which it was disclosed, and must treat it with the same degree of care as it
does its own similar information, but with no less than reasonable care. End User agrees
that the terms herein, the Equipment and all ZTE documentation is ZTE Confidential
Information.

Chapter 1
Safety Precautions
Environment Requirement
l Ensure the proper ventilation to the device. Place the device out of direct sunlight.
l Keep the device ventilated and dry. Never spill any liquid on the device.
l Do not place any object on the device, in case it gets deformed and damaged.
l Do not place the device near any source of heat or water.
l Keep the device away from any household appliances with strong magnetic or electric
fields, such as microwave oven and refrigerator.

Cleaning Requirement
l Before the cleaning, please power off the device, and unplug all the cables connected
to the device, such as, power cable, optical fiber, and Ethernet cable.
l Do not use any liquid or spray to clean the device. please use the soft dry cloth.

Points for Attention


l Please read all the safety cautions carefully before using the device.
l Only use the accessories included in the package, such as power supply adapter and
battery.
l The power supply voltage must meet the requirements of the device input voltage
(The voltage fluctuation range is less than 10%).
l Keep the power plug clean and dry to prevent any risk of electronic shock or other
danger.
l Make sure to unplug all the cables during a lightning storm to prevent the device from
damage.
l Power off and unplug the power plug when the device is not in use for a log time.
l Do not attempt to open covers of this device. It is dangerous to do so when the device
is powered on.
l Do not directly stare at the optical interface to prevent the eyes from being hurt. Please
wear safety glasses if the condition allows.
l Power off and stop using the device under the following conditions: abnormal sound,
smoke and strange smell. Please contact the service provider for maintenance if the
device is faulty.

PON Off The ONT registration failed or the system is not powered on.

Solid green The ONT registration is successful.

Flashing green The ONT is being registered.

LOS Off The ONT received optical power is normal.

Solid red The ONT received optical power is lower than the optical
sensitivity of the receiver.

LAN1 – Off The device is not powered on or the network link is not
LAN4 established.

Solid green The network link has been established but no data is being
transmitted or received.

Flashing green Data is being transmitted or received.

Technical Features
ZXA10 F600Ghas the following functions:
l Broadband access: Connected to OLT through the GPON access method.
l Ethernet function: Provide GE or FE Ethernet interfaces, connected to the Ethernet
devices, such as the user PC. Provide the Internet access and IPTV services.
l Provide the device, user and service-based multi-level authentication as well as the
encryption of data channel for safety, QoS and network management concerns. It can
satisfy the QoS requirements, and perform the multi-mode network management for
various services.

Chapter 7
Cable Connection
Figure 7-1 shows the devices that are connected to an F600G device.

Please connect the F600G device to other devices as described below.


l The PON interface is on the left side of the device. Open the cover, and insert the
optical fiber of the SC/APC connector type to connect the optical interface of the
F600G device, as shown in Figure 7-1.

l Use the Ethernet cable to connect the LAN interface of the device and the LAN
interface of the PC network adapter card, as shown in Figure 7-3.

l Use the power cord to connect the POWER connector and the AC power supply
socket, as shown in Figure 7-4.

l Press the power button on the front panel, as shown in Figure 7-5.

services provided by the service provider.

Chapter 8
Troubleshooting
The power indicator on the front panel is off after the power button is pressed.
Please check the power adapter is correctly connected to the device. Be sure to use the
power adapter supplied with the device.

The LOS indicator is red after the device is powered on.


The PON fiber connection is abnormal.
Please check whether the optical fiber is correctly connected to the ONT PON interface.
Please check whether the optical fiber is broken or damaged.

The PON indicator on the front panel is off after the device is powered on.
The GPON link is not established. The ONT is not registered. If the power indicator is
solid green, and the LOS indicator is OFF, take a record of the serial number on the ONT
package. Contact the service provider for help.

The green LAN indicator on the front panel is off after the device is powered on.
The corresponding LAN link is not established.
Please check whether the Ethernet cable is correctly connected to the LAN interface.
Please check whether the network device connected to the LAN interface is powered on.
