1. Each department/section must have one entry only who is a female employee
irrespective of employment status. The contestant’s name must be submitted on
or before March 1, 2021 to Ms. Leizel Licaycay, Office of the City Planning and
Development Coordinator.
2. The contest proper is on March 4, 2020 (Thursday). Time and venue to be
announced later.
3. The piece, PHENOMENAL WOMAN MUST BE MEMORIZED AND
INTERPRETED during the contest.
4. Attire appropriate for the spoken piece shall be worn during the contest.
5. Sounds, instrumental or musical background are allowed to compliment the
delivery so long as they do not drown the delivery of the lines. Sound effects or
background music must be ready during the presentation. No deduction shall be
made if the contestant opts not to have a musical background.
6. Costume or props is allowed to be used.
7. For judging purposes, judges will also be provided with a copy of the poem.
8. The decision of judges is final and irrevocable.
