The Dolphins

Dolphins are highly social animals. But are dolphins fish? No. Dolphins are
mammals just like me and you. Dolphins breathe air, give birth to baby
dolphins, also known as calves, nurse their babies with milk, and have hair at
some point in their life. They have a constant body temperature, which means
they’re warm blooded.

top of their head acts as a "nose" making it easy for the dolphin to surface for
catching a breath.

They live in a school or a pod of up to 12 individuals. They use a clicking or

whistling sound to communicate among each other. Compared to other animals,
dolphins are believed to be highly intelligent. They display a playful behavior,
which makes them popular in humans. They can be seen jumping out of the
water, riding waves, and occasionally interacting with humans while swimming in
the water. Even though they live in the ocean all the time, dolphins are mammals,
not fish.
