Inspector Posts Examination Scheduled on 16th & 17th November,2019

Processing of Applications by Administrative Units

1. This document is designed for all the Controlling Authorities ie; Postal/RMS Divisions,
Regions, Circles, DPS (HQ) of the Circles, APS Directorate who are handles the
applications received from the candidates for the Departmental Inspector Posts
Examination scheduled on 16th and 17th Novemebr, 2019.

2. As per the notifications dated 09.09.2019 and 07.10.2019, Applicants have to submit
their application Online through URL http://ccc.cept.gov.in/ipapplication and after
successful online submission, have to take print out of the application from the system
and send the same to Controlling authority, duly signed.

3. Applications s serving on deputation in APS have to send their hard copy of the
application to the APS controlling authority, who after verification have to sent to the
Parent Circle Office. Such applicants will appear from the Examination Centre of their
parent Civil Circles.

4. Logins have been provided to all the Controlling Units i.e., Postal/RMS Divisions,
Regions, Circles and APS Divisions [1 CBPO, 2 CBPO] in the same web url
http://ccc.cept.gov.in/ipapplication

5. Credentials (User Name and Password) for the controlling units are shared in separate
file.

5.1. Usaer Name: Name of the controlling unit followed by status (i.e.
division/region/circle name without any spaces)
Ex: ChennaiGPODivision  is the user name for Chennai GPO.

5.2. Default Password for each controlling unit is separate and is generated automatically
by the System. The same are furnished in the attached excel file.

5.3. After first Login to the Website by the controlling authority, it is mandatory to
change the password by using the “Change Password” option.

5.4. In the Change Password option, Controlling authority has to provide the details of
current (default) password, India Post mail ID and Mobile number.

5.5. Once the change password request is submitted, system automatically generates
another password [alphanumeric] and the same will be communicated to the India
Post email lD mentioned in the change password option.

6. After Login with the changed Password, all the applications submitted by the employees
under the controlling unit are displayed.

7. The following 3 [Three] Options are available to the Controlling authority


(Divisions/Regions/Circles) to process the applications. For this purpose, the Regions
and Circles perform the duties of the Controlling authority in respect of the regular
applicants of their own units

 Eligible,
 Not Eligible,
 Allow Re-submission.

8. Eligibility of the candidate for attending the examination w.r.t. data furnished by the
candidate has been shown in the system generated print out of the application. However,
Controlling Authority has to check and satisfy the eligibility of the candidate for the
examination with reference to the basic records available before processing the
application online.

9. The details of processed applications will be displayed in the Dashboard against the
respective menu option ie; Recommended, Not Recommended, Pending applications.

10. As per Notification, Allow Re-submission option is provided to the controlling authority,
if he/she satisfy that there is a genuine mistake in the data entry made by the candidate
through Online and it requires re-submission from the Candidate to process further.

11. If the application is processed as “Allow-Resubmission”, a mail notification from server


will go the candidate mail ID so that he can check the details and remarks of the
controlling unit and re-submit the application afresh with correct details through the
Website during the prescribed time on 6th and 7th October, 2019.

12. Once the candidate has re-submitted the application, the data will be available to the
concerned authority in the Dashboard for further process viz; Eligible, Not Eligible.

13. No option has been provided to the controlling authorities to change the status of the
application once it is marked as “Eligible” (or) “Not Eligible”.

14. The data of processed applications which are marked as “Eligible” (or) “Not Eligible”
will be transferred to DPS (HQ) Login of the Circle for further process.

15. Separate Logins are credited to all the DPS (HQ) of all Circles [Nominated Nodal Officer
of the Circle] for processing the applications. Credentials will be shared to the concerned
via email.

16. Application process in respect of Regions/Circles for the applications pertaining to their
Office/Unit is same as like Divisions. Data of processed applications of Regions/Circle
Logins will be transferred to the concerned DPS (HQ) Login of the Circle for further
action.

17. In the DPS (HQ) login of the Circle, details of all the applications processed by different
units of the Circle with the Remarks/ status of the application will be displayed in two
separate menu options ie; Recommended, Not Recommended.

18. Further, options are provided to configure the Examination Centre/ Venue details for
conducting the IP Examination in the Circle.

19. Allocation of Examination Centre to each of the permitted candidate of the Examination
has to be done by the Nodal Officer.

20. Once the process of allocation of the Examination Centre to the candidate is done by the
Circle Nodal Officer, system will initiate the process of generating the Hall Permit to the
candidate.

21. Option to generate Hall Permit/Admit Card of the candidates permitted for the
examination will be provided to the Circle Nodal Officer.

22. Applicant can also download the Hall Permit/Admit Card through his login from the
Website from 19.10.2019 onwards, as mentioned in the Schedule.

23. All the details of permitted candidates of the Examination, Circle Wise, will be made
available to the Directorate Login, as per requirement.
