What are some examples of absolute truths?

I can name an infinite number!

Firstly, we must establish whether there is such a thing as ‘truth’. If there is not, then no
statement can be disproven - because disproofs rely on the truth of negations. Therefore,
for the purpose of your game, truth must exist.

Secondly, for proofs to exist we must use consistent logics. If you are to show something is
wrong, you need terms to have constant implications and relationships. For example, to
prove that 2+2 does not equal 5 (or any value other than 4) you need to have a theory of
arithmetic that maintains the identities of all integers.

See where this is going?

The most basic truths are tautologous statements of identity: “this is this”. It’s trivial, but
it must  be true. If it is not true, then every identity that ‘this’ could possibly refer to becomes
inconsistent.

But what if I were to point to my right hand and say ‘this’ then point to my left hand and say
‘is this’? That would not be true, because the reference is inconsistent despite the term
remaining unchanged. Hence, we must work with abstract facts rather than objects in space
and time. Thankfully these are simple and necessarily absolute. In fact, ‘space’ and ‘time’ are
perfect examples :)

“One is One”, “Two is Two” et cetera.  These statements are not as trivial as it appears! If they
are not  necessarily true and absolute in their implications then ‘proofs’ like this one exist:
