The department is the Nodal Point in the policy making, promotes collegiate Education,
Technical Education by giving special attention to the areas located in backward and rural
areas, to strengthen women education at Under Graduate and Post Graduate level. It
contributes a major share in the overall education system which is imparted at various levels
in the state of Telangana.

The main activities are planning, supervising and motivating all the Higher Education
Institutions under its purview, to transform the students as knowledgeable, employable and
responsible citizens. It assures either self employment or wage employment. It Maintains and
Promotes higher standards in all the academic institutions by taking steps to fulfil global
benchmarks enshrined the international covenants to raise the status of HEIs.

Institute for Academic Excellence (IAE), established to provide advisory services to Higher
Educational Institutions (HEI) of India to become top performers in their fields and to raise
their profiles on a global scale. Suggest strategies, methods to develop best practices to
improve the academic performance and enhance the institution’s reputation among
stakeholders.

Institute for Academic Excellence (IAE) in collaboration with Collegiate Education &Technical
Education Department Government of Telangana has been conducting the National Level
Workshops for the HEI’s and Health Science Institutions on NIRF India Rankings, NAAC
Accreditation Process and Curriculum Framework topics very successfully since 2019.

Around 1500 HEIs from PAN India participated in our programs and giving very positive and
encouraging feedback.

Now announcing 2nd National Level Workshop for Higher Educational Institutions
Transformation through NAAC ACCREDITATION PROCESS In June 2022.
THE OVERVIEW
Higher Educational Institutions having a valid accreditation by the NAAC with a minimum
score of 3.26 on a 4-point scale shall be permitted to offer program(s) in open and distance
learning mode without the prior approval of the commission and upon satisfying the other
condition mentioned by UGC

THE WORKSHOP

level Workshop is for Higher Educational Institutions & Health
Science Institutions to make NAAC Accreditation Process easy by
providing a comprehensive Step by step rundown.

Bring awareness and present critical insights into all the


seven criteria of NAAC.
Give an insight and in-depth knowledge of the DVV process.
Critically explain the interpretation of all the qualitative and
quantitative metrics.
Provide General tips and guidance for SSR preparation

Explain the procedure to follow and precautions to be taken


during Peer Team visit to the campus.

Suggest measures for overall quality enhancement and


institutional growth and development.

institutional NAAC GRADE in subsequent cycles of
Accreditation.
