I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the student should be able to:
A. Define what is communication;
B. Explain why there is a breakdown of communication, and
C. Create one’s own model of communication.
III. PROCEDURE
A. Review
Ask the student about their stock knowledge about communication
What he/she learn in that lesson?
B. Introduction to new lesson
Proceed to the next lesson which is Communication models
Ask the learner about their ideas in Communication models
Introduce the meaning of Communication models
Introduce the various types of Communication models
C. Presentation
Present a video clip about communication models
The teacher will give the student an activity. The student will receive an
envelope with a set of jumbled letters. The student will arrange the
letters and come up with the following words:
1. Communication
2. Model
3. Linear
4. Interactive
5. Transactional
Discuss the different types of Communication models
IV. EVALUATION
The student will explain why there is a breakdown of communication.
The student will create one’s own model of communication by creating a
photo collage explaining the specific ideas of each model.
V. ASSIGNMENT
Have an advance reading about the Process of Communication.
