Review and track the progress of Data Center designs submitted by the
vendors/Consultants and ensure accuracy and timely delivery by identifying
and solving obstacles to avoid delays and inaccuracies.
Conduct audits of designs and identify any deviations from international
standards.
Coordinate meetings with all stakeholders in regard to the Data Center
design aspects.
Collaborate with Design Consultants to develop and review construction
documents, schematic diagrams, Bill of Materials for all cabling.
Provide technical oversight and guidance support to other technical staff.
Provide network design, development, implementation and installation
support, hardware or software product analyses and recommendations.
Identify and escalate any documentation discrepancies as early as possible to
line.
Process and control all project documentation in accordance with agreed
processes and procedures.
Interface with the project control team for tracking Design activities.
Preparation of business cases and develop a project brief that is aimed at ful
filling the business resilience, site selection and design requirements for a
fit-for-purpose and suitably redundant mission-critical data centre.
Estimates criticality of important site locations and decides upon inefficient
infrastructure replacement accordingly
Assesses replacement requirements of obsolete infrastructure, support and
performance infrastructure and devises measures to ensure cost optimization
Sets internal targets keeping in view OPEX, Plans different projects in
collaboration with technology and solution and recommends measures to
enhance energy efficiency for, power and cooling systems. Please new energy
initiatives.
The candidate can eye a potential growth path in Data center Passive design and
Energy efficiency, within the technology division itself or in the organization .
Education: Electrical Engineering
Experience: 7 + Year of Experience in Data center Passive Infra Design
