 Who is the user?
There are 2.5 billion WhatsApp users
around the globe, mainly between 18 and
55 years old. It is used in more than 180
countries in 60 different languages. 400
mn people in India use WhatsApp. You
can find whatsapp installed in the phone
of people of any age group.

 What’s the
problem?

WhatsApp status

The WhatsApp status bar is located next

to the chat part, thus users must swipe
from right to left on the chat section to
access the status section, which some
users find difficult.

The WhatsApp navigation bar is an

important feature of the programme, even
though the Android WhatsApp UI lacks it
and the WhatsApp navigation bar on iOS is
simply too boring.

 IDEATION
WhatsApp status

After analysing and describing the problem,

I was inspired by Instagram and decided to
move the status section above the chat
overlay, creating a virtuous user interface
and solving the user problem.

the application is the navigation bar. The
nav bar aids the user in navigating the
app's various tasks, enhancing the user
experience.
