ABEL 3A
Let’s do it!
Task: Applying image advertisement, verbal and layout advertisement, make a Poster-advertisement
of any event you wish to conduct in your barangay.
As a youth, I wish to conduct the Beach Clean Up in our Barangay because it is necessary to keep our
beaches clean if we hope to keep our oceans clean. So let's put litter in its place to clean our beach. We
are protectors of the environment and the life it sustains. Keeping our earth as well as the oceans clean
is a great way to teach the family about the importance of having a clean earth free up scattered trash.
The easiest way to do this is to simply pick it up!
VIII. SELF- EVALUATION:
Because advertisements have one aim and that is to persuade the target audience to buy the product or
the service being advertised or in a case of charity, fund-raising organizations to get peoples‟ attention
to their campaign.
Through well-designed graphics which always included a picture of the product, sometimes side on and
sometimes front on as well as the headlines and the logo of the product or company also attract the
customers.
2. What techniques does the media product use to get your attention?
Advertisement used many techniques to persuade consumers. Some techniques are language-based,
but many are visual. Well-chosen adjectives, puns, alliteration, assonance, exaggeration, repetition,
rhetorical questions, commands, slogans, and catchy phrases.
Emotional marketing use language that evokes strong feelings in clients in order to convince them to
remember, buy, or spread their message, products, or services. Consumers are motivated to respond
when they hear language that is emotional, usually by focusing on a specific feeling.
