Magelang Town Square

Magelang City Square is a landmark or icon as well as a tourist attraction around the city of Magelang.
This town square has a uniqueness that no other town square has, such as a water tower building, a
Diponegoro statue, and a flower garden in one corner of the square. The location of Magelang City
Square is in the city center which is passed by a one-way protocol road that divides the shopping center.

The current condition of Magelang City Square is better than several years ago after the construction of
facilities around the area was carried out. From the side of the road, you can see the giant writing
MAGELANG facing east. The existence of this giant writing is quite interesting for some road passers to
stop by and take a photo in front of the article.

The corner of Magelang Square which is close to the Liong Hok Bio Temple was built a flower lantern
garden to strengthen the image of the city of Magelang as "City of a Million Flowers". The flower
lantern garden is made in a circle with a rim in the form of a flower plant pot and in between, a flower-
shaped lantern lamp is attached. Inside the park is provided a bench to sit visitors to the square.
