to get to
Why is it important
know each other?

Getting to know each other would

make a smooth-sailing process in
finishing the project. Like what people
often say, "A teamwork makes the dream
work." It is so true, yet it's a challenge,
especially since we are still amid the
pandemic and not fully allowed to meet
each other face-to-face. We need to get
to know each other better to minimize
the communication problems since we
only communicate through chats and
zoom meetings—also, these meetings aid
us to get to know each other more and
eventually befriend them.

How did you feel about your

classmates before and after
the activity? Why?

Initially, we don't know each other,

although some of them have already been
my classmates before in other classes. We
have no fixed schedule for a meeting
because some of my groupmates, including
me, had personal problems to prioritize.
However, as we agreed on a final scheduled
appointment, we all participated and
discussed our activity. Further, because
our topic is so relevant today, it was
funny how we inserted some of our rants
and realizations during the discussion.
They are fun to talk to because they are
relatable and approachable. I quickly got
comfortable with them by sharing my
insights and ideas.

What are the advantages of knowing

the background and other important
information about the members of
our group/team?

Knowing each member's background

serves as an introduction to their
personality, community, and culture. It
could help us quickly navigate their
reasons for behaving or acting in a
certain way. Also, it provides an idea of
how to interact and effectively
communicate with them. We could also
know their problems and issues and how
they processed these to create solutions
or programs. Also, it helps us manage our
differences and try to work them out by
finding our middle ground.

What are the ways to get to know

better your fellow group/team
members or other people whom you
will work with in CWTS/ LTS
(especially those in the community)?
Personally, based on my experiences, we
have to communicate well with other
people, especially with my groupmates or
workmates. We should not be afraid to be
vulnerable to share a piece of ourselves
because these things would help us to
create meaningful connections with others.
Also, we should know how to listen to
others and volunteer as much as we can.
Stressing volunteerism here, we could
maximize our potential as a member of the
community through this initiative. It helps
us easily navigate its people and
understand where they were coming from.
From that, we could be critical of what
solutions we make in solving a particular
problem or issue. Besides, in this way, we
could not only get to know them but also
build networks and learn interpersonal or
social skills.
