 PRETEND YOU ARE PLANNING A BIRTHDAY PARTY

This birthday party will take place at the Bambu Restaurant, located in Colonia Hernandez and
Boulevard del Sur Real Intercontinental San Pedro Sula. I chose this beautiful place because it is
very cozy and its service is unique and I can consider it one of the best services I have received
from a restaurant.

As a starter I want to place this delicious walnut bread with

olives and a glass of strawberry soda. Then proceed with the
central or main course and a glass of red wine, in addition to
having a snack that would be an hour after the main course and
then serve the cake with a drink. In the planning of the birthday
party, I plan to have 40 guests, all friends and relatives of the protagonist of the event. Thematic
and very traditional decoration with candles and centerpieces representing the ancient era, with
clothing that evokes it, since the restaurant lends itself to this type of theme. The objective of my
idea on this theme is that this celebration denotes to my guests the ideas, customs and intentions
of our hosts through an interesting and defined context and make a notable difference compared
to other events, that is, an original event, out of series and worth remembering.

First of all, I want to mention that this restaurant is of the buffet type, whose characteristic is the
large number and variety of preparations it offers, which range from salad bars, meals without
cooking, such as sushi and carpaccio’s, to international dishes or desserts. The specific selection
always depends on the context of the event; as it is in this case with my theme of the old time. It
is worth mentioning that Restaurant Bambu also has an ideal service for lovers of elegance,
comfort and the traditional, as well as the sweet vibration that quality care and quality of care emits
are the best qualities that this beautiful restaurant has every night, finishing complementing the
charm of the place accompanied by its main dishes such as Robalo a la Beatriz, Baby Beef,
Fettucine with Chicken, Risotto.

An extensive list of wines and spirits could not be missing, which together with the decoration and
atmosphere of the place, manage to be a strategic place to close deals, enjoy a romantic evening
and even hold certain family events such as birthdays and private graduation celebrations.
 CONVERSATION TO ORDER FOOD, DRINKS AND DESSERT

Hostess: Hi, Restaurant Bambu, how can I help you?

Greyssy: Hello, I would like to make a reservation for a themed birthday party for this Sunday.

Hostess: Okay. What time would you like?

Greyssy: We will arrive around 6:00 pm.

Hostess: Perfect. How many people will come?

Greyssy: 40 people approximately.

Hostess: Very good. Can I please have your name?

Greyssy: Yes, my name is Greyssy Zuniga.

Hostess: All right, Mrs. Zuniga, you have a reservation for 40 people at 6:00 pm on Sunday. Do
you need anything else?

Greyssy: Yes, the menu for Sunday, I would like for the starter to serve almond bread and
strawberry soda.

Hostess: Yes, there is no problem. What do you want for main course and dessert?

Greyssy: great, well I would like a grilled beef fillet with steamed vegetables and garlic sauce and
a glass of red wine; For dessert, let it be a piece of cold cake and a soft drink.

Hostess: any kind of detail or decoration on your tables?

Greyssy: Yeah, candles and centerpieces like pots or something that represents the old days.

Hostess: Anything else you want, in the drinks and desserts?

Greyssy: No, just remember that what the guests like the most is the natural drink between the
starter and the dessert, for the first and a strawberry drink, for the main course the red wine and
for dessert a soda of watermelon.

Hostess: Perfect, just remember that the food will be at the bar, the guests can take what they like
from the menu that you have requested, anything else?
Greyssy: No, just that.

Hostess: Ok, Mrs. Greyssy, your reservation is ready for Sunday at 6:00 pm. It will be a pleasure
to serve you.
