Formation: 4.5 billion years ago
Discovery: January 1, 1801 by Giuseppi Piazzi
Unique features: may have an atmosphere, harbor a subsurface ocean, has
¨mysterious¨ bright spots. The mysterious spots is sunlight.

Studied: It has evidence of ice volcanoes, and it is on it´s way to its final orbit
Physical Data: Dimensions(964.4 × 964.2 × 891.8) ± 0.2 km
Physical Data: Surface Area (2,770,000 km²)
Properties: rocky inner core, icy mantle, thin dusty outer crust inferred from
its density and rotation rate
