1. How are the provisions of Article XIV of the 1987 Constitution reflected in the K-12 program?

Article XIV of the 1987 Constitution states that “The State shall protect and promote the rights of all
citizens to quality education at all levels and shall take appropriate steps to make such education
accessible to all” it reflected in the K-12 program due to the fact that the students will be more
knowledgeable enough to the different information they will receive in the span of 2 years.

2. What should the government do further improve the quality of Philippine education?

Ascertain that improvement initiatives in the classroom address the requirements of students at all
levels of learning. Students are evaluated in a variety of methods, and plans for boosting student
accomplishment are developed. Professional development that is laser-focused (Empowering teachers).
Cultural competence and responsiveness.

3. How does the state protect the rights of teachers?

Most states have tenure laws that prevent teachers in public schools from being fired arbitrarily. Once a
teacher has earned tenure, his or her contract automatically renews each year under these regulations.

4. With the implementation of the K-12 education program, what are the things that need to be
improved in the teaching profession?

Students should be taught that they must put what they've learned into practice. They must be able to
generate all of a nation's commodities and services, as well as all of the riches that nations demand and
that people enjoy. GDP stands for Gross Domestic Product. To do so, individuals must first comprehend
what they are studying and then apply what they have learned. It is necessary to consult and improve
the student's understanding.

5. What are the positive and negative practices on the systems of hiring, promotion, and tenure of
public school teachers?

Public schools provide a wealth of positive services, with plenty of opportunities for promotion and
recognition. They have well-known educational systems and a well-defined curriculum that is simple to
follow and adjust. On the negative side, because public schools are governed by the government, pay
and tenure vary depending on the government's approval. The compensation is directly proportionate
to the decrease in the country's earnings.
