4. CONSTRACTION:

Construction is the process of constructing a building or infrastructure. Construction differs from

manufacturing in that manufacturing typically involves mass production of similar items without
a designated purchaser, while construction typically takes place on location for a known client.

Auto Level and Staff:

An Auto Level is a Professional Leveling Tool used by Contractors, Builders, Land Surveying
Professionals, or the Engineer who demands accurate leveling every time. Auto Levels set up fast,
are easy to use, and save time and money on every job. A level staff, also called leveling rod, is a
graduated wooden or aluminum rod, used with a leveling instrument to determine the difference
in height between points or heights of points above a datum surface. It cannot be used without a
leveling instrument.

Fig-4.2: This Pic Shown Leveling With the Auto Level

Measuring tape:

A tape measure or measuring tape is a flexible ruler. It consists of a ribbon of cloth, plastic, fiber
glass, or metal strip with linear-measurement markings. It is a common measuring tool. Its design
allows for a measure of great length to be easily carried in pocket or tool kit and permits one to
measure around curves or corners.

Concrete vibrator:

A concrete vibrator is a construction tool typically used on concrete pouring sites. This
machines are designed for multiple applications built by a variety of manufacturers. The vibrators
are used to ensure that the pour is free of air bubbles and are even. This is so that the concrete
remains strong and has a smooth finish even after removal of the form work.

Block Masonry

A concrete masonry unit is a standard-size rectangular block used in building construction. CMUs
are some of the most versatile building products available because of the wide variety of
appearances that can be achieved using them. In the blew picture working of block Masonary is
in process in our project At Naran.

Shuttering is defined as the temporary moulds that are used to hold the wet concrete in place
until the concrete has set and cured. Projects of different sizes will often need to use both
formwork and shuttering methods. In Above picture the shuttering / Farm Work was done in our
project on Second Floor.

9. CONCLUSION:

The internship is a bridge between the theoretical knowledge and the practical or the reality work
at the field of construction or civil engineering work. We all who take the internship class go to
companies that already working either as a consultant or a contractor. The responsibilities of the
hosting company are to teach student and shape them in the two month as a real site worker. My
hosting company is a consultant team and they help me in acquiring different knowledge in
different positions. They collaborate with the contractors to teach us in that section and they
believe that the civil engineering work is more important for us than the consulting office.

This program played an important role to break the conventional thought that field works can be
only implemented by students who hold a degree or people who have an experience in building
construction. We were able to acquire a high level of confidence to deal with problems that arise
in a building construction.
