Section 1 Summary of pre-delivery skills
In this section please summarise how you prepared for the training session

Documents, notes, visual aids and equipment:

Before the start of training session, I have given the handouts to trainees 3 days prior to my training
session. I have highlighted some key points and sample of personal protective equipment's to
demonstrate the practical applicability of PPE,S. I have included video clips and images in the
PowerPoint slides regarding chemical hazards and their associated control measures. To ensure the
provision and working of all IT gadgets like Projector, Pointer, I have visited the training hall 30 min
prior of my training session. I also ensured that my laptop battery was fully charged with stable Wi-Fi
connectivity to avoid any inconvenience during the session. For thorough understanding I managed
a few sample of Safety Data Sheets.

Considerations in relation to the learning needs of the intended audience:

The trainees came from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, so there was a big gap in their ability
and level of understanding, and there were language barriers present as well (some were not fluent
in English). My goal was to convey the content of the course in as simple as, so that all participants
could easily understand it. I have done my best to creatively utilize my knowledge, experience, and
equal access to all learners.

Actions taken to meet the identified learning needs of the intended audience:

I introduced a few questions withinside the introductory slide from the pre-work earlier than the
lesson started. I have provided time to my trainees to take into account their reminiscence and
solution the inquiries to recognise their current understanding. I designed effective training course to
achieve recognized learning objectives, and my teaching approach extended their abilities and
enhanced their knowledge in order to promote a safer and healthier workplace. The pastime covered
subject matter research, turning in an powerful presentation, showing portraits and clips, and asking
each open-ended and closed-ended questions etc

Section 2 Summary of delivery skills
In this section please summarise your actions during the training session

Welcome and setting learner expectations:

I arrived 30 minutes early to make sure everything was in order and working perfectly. When the
quorum was full, I introduced myself and then asked them to introduce themselves. I asked the
trainees if they needed a break they just let m know. In stat informed them important information
such as emergency exits, meeting places, toilet facilities, training schedules, and told them their
cellular devices should be turned of during training. This is an expression of unconditional positive
regard and setting an environment. Highlighted the significance of training outcomes. Trainees have
found that this training is useful in both personal and professional life.

Delivery styles and techniques used to engage the audience:

During this training session, I tried to covey my topic of training as simple as possible so thy can
learn and get maximum benefit from this session. For better understanding i wrote home important
facts regarding chemical safety. For gauging current knowledge level i arranged a group discussion
between the learners and prepare a team quiz. At the end of my training session i gave them a
chance to show case their understanding and how we can use this in professional and personal life.
tried to involve trainees with practical examples of positive electrical isolation (effective use of lock,
tag, clear and try) to polish their skills.

Communication skills and responding to questions:

By asking open and closed ended questions, two-way communication was maintained throughout
the training. The local language was used because it was easy for trainees to understand and helped
improve their skills. I spoke a little louder than usual, and my voice became faster and deeper than
usual. I asked them questions by giving them the courage to ask questions and encouraged them
to make group discussions more interactive. To answer the question, I used a very simple strategy.
Whenever they didn't come up with the best answer, I told them directly what the best answer was.
When I didn't know the answer, I made it clear to them that I would provide the answer at end.

during the session was highly appreciated by the
trainees as the course covers almost all of the
basic needs and skills required to work safely.

could be improved in your training session could be improved
1Course contain a bit of extra technical portion 1
The trainees felt bored on the technical portion
as it was of high level. That portion could be
improved if i would add some more chemical
safety related videos to make the course more int
