Application Information
You must first register or log in (if you have
already registered) in order to add and view
applications for supported child related
services.

Infant/Junior 2022
Applications
The portal will allow application for Infant and
Junior 2022 on 15 November 2021. The
deadline to submit your on time applications is
15 January 2022.

Please ensure you have added or ensured all

details are correct for your child in the my
family section of the portal before starting
your application.

When completing your application you must

ensure your full address is entered.

Secondary 2022 Applications:

The deadline for Secondary 2022 applications

was 31 October 2021.

Please contact School Admissions on 0115

8415568 to obtain a form to be considered for
a LATE application.

In year Applications- September

2021 Onwards

The portal is now allowing

applications for the 2021-2022 school
year. This will be for places to start
school from September 2021
onwards. Please ensure you select
01/09/2021 or later under the "date
Place required" question in the
application. If you select an earlier
date, your application may not be
considered.

Please carefully read the guidance

notes in the booklet 'Going to School
in Nottingham' before completing this
application. The booklet can be
viewed at Going to School in
Nottingham Booklet or you can view a
reference copy in Nottingham city
schools or at Loxley House, Station
Street, Nottingham NG2 3NG.

Check to see if you need to complete

supplementary form(s) if making a
preference for church school(s). For
In year applications the
Supplementary forms can be
accessed by clicking the following
link: In-year Supplementary forms.

Please provide information if your

child has medical needs or disability
that can only be met at certain
schools. We will require written
evidence from a doctor, social worker
or other relevant professional to
support your application. Please
provide documents to support your
application if your child is "Looked
After" (in the care of the Local
Authority) or "previously Looked
After" and provide details of which
Local Authority.

For in-year applications please

carefully read the summary guide to
in-year admission arrangements
which can be viewed by clicking the
links highlighted or you can request a
copy from the School Admissions
Team on Tel: 0115 841 5568.

Please provide information if your

child has medical needs or disability
that can only be met at certain
schools. Please provide information if
your child has been out of education
for more than one month or if your
child is at risk of exclusion.

to schools in another authority or for
the following schools on this

Academy, Bluecoat Beechdale
Academy, Bluecoat Trent Academy,
Bulwell Academy, Djanogly City
Academy, Ellis Guilford Academy,
Farnborough Academy, Firbeck
Academy, Emmanuel School,
Nottingham Academy, Oakwood
Academy, Fernwood School
(Secondary), Nottingham Free
School, Trinity Catholic School and
Nottingham University of Science and
Technology. You will need to contact
these schools directly for an in year
transfer form.

For in-year applications we aim to

process them within 15 school days.
Please DO NOT contact us before the
15 school day period for a decision on
your application.
