Goals

We, the student nurses of Unibersidad de Manila, aim to develop essential as well as skillful maternal
and child nursing care based on the effective and better approach to promote health, completely reduce
illness and eliminate diseases. We also up to in knowing how to manage diseases in such a way that it
would be therapeutic to both mother and child.

Objectives
1. Apply the systematic fundamental approach of the nursing profession in promoting health unto
the clients.
2. Enhance the use of the nursing process that would include (ADPIE) assessment, diagnosis,
planning, intervention, and evaluation into a more effective and more useful in doing the
patients care.
3. Develop an independent and collaborative work together with the medical health team and
members.
4. Improve our ability to manage the said disease in regards to their cultural beliefs and lifestyle.
5. Prioritize things which are essential in assesing and developing proper intervention in allevating
on threating the illness.
