Hi there!
If you intend to get married in the Philippines and want to get a Marriage License in the City of Cagayan de Oro, you
may fill-out the APPLICATION FOR MARRIAGE LICENSE below, but first PLEASE BE GUIDED OF THE
FOLLOWING:
General Requirements:
1. CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage) with Official Receipt from the Philippine Statistics Authority, is required
from both applicants, Filipino and foreigner.
2. Birth Certificate, Identification Card/Residence Certificate
3. Seminar Certificate/s
4. Fees (shall be paid only after verification of the required documents at the City Civil Registry Office)
Marriage Application Fee ±P300.00 Marriage License Fee (National) ±P2.00
Certification fee (Certified True Machine Copy) of supporting documents-P30.00 per copy
Note: Parental consent or Parental advice form will be signed by both parents if living, with valid
Identification Cards
6. Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage or a Certificate of No- Legal Impediment to Marry is required
from Foreign Nationals or Non-Filipino citizens. This Document must come from their respective Embassies or
Consular Office here in the Philippines.
(It is advisable that applicants will contact first their consular offices in the Philippines for clarification and
information. Applicants are further advised to obtain first the document in Manila or Cebu, before proceeding to
Cagayan de Oro City)
Divorced/Divorcee
a. Divorce granted to Foreigners/Non-Filipino citizens abroad Divorce decree (certified machine copies)
If divorced 3 times, copies of 3 divorce decrees
are required
b. Divorce granted to Muslim Filipinos by the Sharia¶h Court 1. Divorce decree
2. Court Decision certified by the (PD 1083) Shari¶a
Court and
3. Annotated Security Paper of the Marriage Contract with
Official Receipt from the Phil..Statistics Authority
c. Divorce granted by Foreign Courts to Filipino/s abroad 1. Divorce decree issued by a foreign court
but whose marriage took place here in the Philippines 2. Judicial Recognition of Divorce obtained from the
Phil. Court
3. An annotated Security Paper of the Marriage Certificate
With Official Receipt issued by the PSA
e. Judicial Declaration of Pressumptive Death Court Decision and Annotated Certificate of Marriage with
Official Receipt issued by the Phil. Statistics Authority
