1.

16 ounces pizza dough, store-bought or homemade (I like this no-knead version, though
note that this recipe makes enough dough for 2 pizzas)
2. 1/2 cup pizza sauce (see below)
3. 18 to 20 slices pepperoni.
4. 12 ounces mozzarella cheese, grated.
5. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper.

STEP ONE

Preheat oven to 450°F. Combine tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese and oregano in small
bowl; spread tomato sauce evenly over crust. Sprinkle pizza with mozzarella cheese; top
with pepperoni.

STEP TWO
Place on ungreased pizza pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until edges of crust are browned
lightly and cheese melts. Cut pizza into 6 slices.

What to do in Batam as a tourist :

Enjoy the water sports.
Take a trip to Penyengat Island = if you get here early you can go for a walk before
spending the afternoon sunbathing and then catch the spectacular sunset. One point
of interest on the island is the local mosque called Masjid Kuning (Yellow Mosque)
and legend has it that eggshells were used in its construction to make the walls
stronger.
Dine on seafood = Batam is also known for its seafood which again is far cheaper
than Singapore. If you are looking for signature dishes then try the chili crab which is
famous in the region as well as black pepper crab and snacks like crunchy calamari.
Sunbathe on Nongsa Beach = Nongsa Beach is one of the best places to come if you
are in Batam and looking for some sand. The beach has a relaxed atmosphere and is
less crowded than some other places on the island.
watch the sunset at Barelang Bridge = Barelang Bridge is one of the most iconic
sights in Batam and people flock here in the late afternoon for photo opportunities.
Go scuba diving = If you are a diving newbie and want to get certified then Batam
Island is the perfect spot to get your PADI certificate cheaply.
