Electrical items
We collect your unwanted electrical items
every week to be reused or recycled.

A ‘small’
electrical item
will fit inside a
standard-sized
carrier bag.

in separate carrier bags (no black sacks) and put them
next to your refuse or recycling bin on collection day.

Textiles
We collect your unwanted textiles every
week and take them to be reused or recycled.

All your unwanted


textiles can be
used again, no
matter what
condition they are
in – just pop into
a standard-sized
carrier bag.

Place your textiles in a carrier bag (no black


sacks) and put next to your refuse or recycling
bin on collection day.

recycling bin as we can’t recycle them this way.
Food waste caddy
We collect your food waste every week and
recycle its contents into compost and energy!

To order a new food caddy go to

Place your external food waste caddy at the edge


of your property on collection day. Small kitchen
caddies put out for collection won’t be emptied.

containers are out by
7am on collection day
and no earlier than
6pm the evening
before. Please return
your containers to
the inside of your
property boundary
by 9am the day after
your scheduled
collection.

 ithin 48 hours if your bin or caddy has not been
collected. Please note that missed bin collections
reported after this time will not be picked up until
your next collection day.

 o report a lost or stolen bin. Please note, we
charge £40 for replacement black and blue wheelie
bins. You can keep your bin secure by using
a permanent marker to write your address on it and
keeping it within your property wherever possible.
•T
 o find out about subscribing to our paid-for
fortnightly garden waste collection service.
