APCS 2C and 1A overlapping » After surface cleaning and preparation (abrasive blasting is preferred method) feather to sound edge APCS 1A coating system. > Apply APCS 2C system on the repair area with minimum overlapping to APCS 1A coating system » Apply APCS 1A topcoat to areas with service temperature 120 °C and below only. B. APCS 2C and 11A overlapping > After surface cleaning and preparation (abrasive blasting is preferred method) feather to sound edge APCS 11A exposing Resist 78 (do not overlap APCS 2C ‘Tankguard AR to APCS 11A topcoat (Solvalitt) > Apply APCS 2C system to the repair area with minimal overlapping to APCS 114 primer Resist 78. > Apply APCS 11A topcoat overlapping to APCS 2C coating system Note: There will be no technical issue when minor portion of APCS 11A and 1A are under insulation since the primer Resist 78 for both systems are approved under insulation.
