PEM30-284-S55-HK dated 06.10.2069 NTPC Comment BHEL/AGIL Reply Control, monitoring and alarms Pertaining to air dryer system has not been indicated. The Air Dryer does not have any panel / controller of its ‘own. But is controlled by the micro-pracessor based local control panel mounted on air compressor. Status of the Air Dryer (i.e. dryer motor overload) shall be displayed at micro-processor based control panel of compressor & will be transmitted to OCS through soft link. Dryer’s dew point will be monitored at DCS through dew point meters provided at the outlet of each dryer.
