MELC: Compose clear and coherent sentences using appropriate grammatical


structures (verb tenses, conjunctions, adverbs)

Direction: Read the following sentences with correct intonation and pronunciation.

1. Once there was a girl called Princess Polite then there came a super star.

2. Polly said “I will make a grand stage just for you where you will rock.”

3. She stopped crying for a moment before she cried into a bucket.

4. The prince and the princess lived happily ever after while the rock star spent the rest
of her life crying a million tears.

5. The prince did not like to marry the super star because she lied to him.

Correct Coordinating Conjunctions)
MELC: Compose clear and coherent sentences using appropriate grammatical

Directions: Revise the different sentences by applying the correct subordinating


conjunction. Observe clarity, correct spelling, and appropriate punctuation marks.

Example: I went to the restaurant. I sat next to my friend.

Answer: I went to the restaurant, then, I sat next to my friend.

1. I went to the theme park. I went on my favorite rides.

Strategy that sustain supportive learning environments that nurture and inspire learners
to participate, cooperate and collaborate in continued learning.

MELC: Applies concepts on the steps/procedures in cartoon character making.

Group Activity:
1. For pupils with gadget and internet connectivity.
Create a collage from the Cartoon Character you made using an application.
The leader will create a group chat in FB Messenger for them to communicate in
accomplishing the task of the group. Each member will send his/her Cartoon Character
in the Messenger. The leader then collects all the individual outputs and make a collage
of the Cartoon Character. He/She will send the said collage to the Messenger of the
teacher.

2. For pupils without gadget and internet connection


Create a collage from the Cartoon Character drawn.
The members of the group in their own respective Sitio will convene at their
Dap-ayan or any preferred house where they will plan and accomplish their output.
Each member will submit his/her drawing of Cartoon Character to the leader. The leader
then with a member will help one another in mounting the drawings in a 1/8 illustration
board to come up with a Cartoon Character Collage. He will submit the output to the
teacher.

Strategy in promoting learning environments that effectively motivate learners to work
productively by assuming responsibility

MELC: Applies concepts on the steps/procedures in cartoon character making.

Group Activity:
1. For pupils with gadget and internet connectivity.
Create a collage from the Cartoon Character you made using an application.
