Western Port (E0-WP)

“Passenger Eric Gerasim. Welcome to Earth. Please head to inspection”

The cyborg entered a claustrophobic room just outside the bridge of the carrier, it was a standard
Saturnian-manufactured civil carrier. The door closes behind him almost insisting him to lay his metallic
being on the chair. A voice over instructed him.

“Traveller: Eric Gerasim”

“In the flesh! Or maybe..-“

“Reason of migration”

“Work”

“Companions?”

“Digital A.I.”

“Scanning. A.I. signature authorized.”

“Is this some sort of a thorough inspection?”

“Reading print, print uploaded. Updating. Welcome Eric Gerasim, citizen of Earth.”

The door on the other side slides up, Eric is practically free from this inhuman sounding inspection.

“Boot: Chury” Eric mumbled to himself, running the command ‘Boot’ and selecting the only option in his
library, Chury. An A.I. 15 years in the making, almost singular.

“Churymov version four-a dash two one two. Linking. Updating. Welcome to Earth, how may I assist you
today?”

“I need a close not-so luxurious motel. Filter: 1 star, maximum 10 credits per night. And don’t forget to
start mining after that”

Eric walked outside the spaceport, an unusual raining season has stuck Earth for the past months.
Forecast said it’ll last for almost a year.
“Found. Booking. Success. Initiating prg.mine_v2.3c. Eric, this area’s rate is peaking at a fiftieth of a
credit per hour in perfect conditions”

“Proceed, and find me an umbrella, my alloys aren’t used to falling water. I’ll corrode..”

“Found at 1 credits per day. 5 ownership”

“What’s wrong with this place?”

“Shop is now out of stock”

“Right, just what I need.”

Eric marched walking under the scorching cold rain, making his way through the waypoint he can see
through his unnatural eyes. An easy form of navigation. . Quite unholy but modular to the fullest, even
accepting Earth’s map files.
