Educational Experience and Goals
I am an innovative and enthusiastic leader with over 15 years of experience ranging from
afterschool program development to campus level administrative support. I hold a Masters in
Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership. I have
9 years of experience in elementary and middle school. In my current role as the Instructional
Technology Specialist, I collaborate with teachers to determine best methods for instruction, how
to effectively monitor cross-curricular goals, and digitally differentiate curriculum for all learners.
My experiences and collaborative efforts with other colleagues have taught me that students need
to engage in ongoing interactions that promote self-awareness, cognitive engagement, and critical
thinking. For the past three years, I have successfully prepared scheduling and ensured
administration of district standardized testing for over 600 K-8 students. I have served in several
leadership capacities as the SBIT Co-Chair, Testing Coordinator, and ESOL Coordinator. I have
experience with school budgeting, community organization, and fostering working relationships
within the school and with student families to enhance the school environment and promote our
school mission. As a principal, I aspire to build capacity in teachers to equitably cultivate high
scholastic standards through data driven decision making to drive student success. I believe in
accountability, support, and goal setting. I would love the opportunity to meet with the team in
person to detail my plan for school success and teacher development. My diverse skills and
experience in customer service and education have made me a valuable asset to the district,
teachers, and students.
