I have selected Mark Zuckerberg for the assessment of his leadership qualities.

He is one of the

most successful business leaders in the world. He introduced Facebook that has become one of

the most trending software in the world.  

1. Personal characteristics of the leader: 

There are following personal qualities that differentiate Mark Zuckerberg from ordinary leaders:

 Creativity and Innovation: 

A lot of recent researches have shown that creativity and innovation are the major qualities that

can lead a person or an organization towards success. Creativity and innovation increase

productivity and attraction towards the services. The leader Mark Zuckerberg never misses an

opportunity to show his creative and innovative qualities. For example, he has recently signed a

contract of partnership with metaverse project because he knows that met verse is the future of

every business.

 Adoption of technology: 

Technology has upgraded almost every field of life but businesses have been greatly influenced

by the latest technology. The idea of Facebook came into the mind of Mark Zuckerberg because

he knew the importance of technology and he was an expert in the field of technology. He made

a strategy to make his company popular throughout the world. He used virtual tools and

techniques to get the attraction of the people.

 High aim: 

The aim is something that decides the future of a company or an organization. If a company has

a bigger aim, it would get more progress than other ordinary companies. The leader had an

excellent and a huge aim for his company. He thought bigger than anyone could think at that

time. His bigger aim made him successful and popular throughout the world.
 Cooperative: 

Cooperation is something that boosts the confidence and trust among the employees of an

organization. The leader is a cooperative leader and he also assures cooperation among all the

members to increase the productivity of the workers. All the problems faced by the employees

within the organization are solved by the management team of the company. The company also

provides medical and transport expenses of the employees that reduce the financial pressure on

the employees.

2. Leadership style of the leader: 

Mark Zuckerberg has adopted a transformational leadership style throughout his career. He is an

aggressive but encouraging leader. He never compromises on his goals and motives. Meanwhile,

he also appreciates the workers if they get their goals in time. He encourages his workers to

discuss various issues faced by them during their work. He tries to solve the problems of their

workers to make sure their ultimate progress and innovation. The leader always tries to make his

workers well organized, team-oriented, creative and respective. Working as a team is one of the

basic strategies of his leadership style. Transformational leadership is the only leadership style

that assures the satisfaction of the workers and improves the overall performance of the

company.

3. Is the leadership style appropriate for his organization?

The leadership style of Mark Zuckerberg is effective and beneficial for his company. As

Facebook is a social platform and it needs the best and cooperative team for its management. The

leader assures cooperation and trust among the employees. The workers feel confident and try

their best to improve the status of their company. They focus on the overall performance of the

company because they are appreciated by their leaders. Moreover, creativity is also boosted up
because of the increased trust and confidence of the employees. An increase in creativity,

confidence, trust, loyalty, and productivity increases the revenue generation and sales generation

of the company. Many of the new companies and their leaders are trying to follow the planning

and strategies of Mark Zuckerberg to become successful.
