In many years ago the researchers haven،t been satisfying themselves for study any more of
disease. but now after discover new science technician and anew medical material that
became to give rich more information about animals or human disease .much more
parasitological diseases as a prevalence and endemic in Iraq country such as the hydatid cyst
and Cysticercus cyst .

The real identify compare between hydatid cyst and cysticercus cyst in the slaughter
animals

Hydatid cyst: one of most dangerous disease for public health , the hydatid cyst has been
found in many country common in South America, the Mediterranean coast, the Middle East,
south-western Asia, northern Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Kenya and Uganda, Iran , turkey ,
Iraq .and other country typically results in the formation of hydatid cyst in the liver, lungs,
kidney and spleen bone , brain of the intermediate host ( cattle , sheep , goat, horse ) .

Etiology: the adult worms are hermaphroditic were placed in small intestine of dog, wolves.
the tape worm belong to family Taeniidae , genus Echinococcus spp , their some species off E.
granulosus ,E. multilocularis , E. vogeli , E. oligarthrus .

Life cycle:

Adult worm in definitive host ( dog , wolves ) began to expel the egg from gravid segment
of host faces . the intermediates host(cattle, sheep, goat) pick up grass that pollute by eggs ,
thereafter the eggs hatching in small intestine and come out hexacanth embryo penetrate layer
of small intestine and by blood stream transport to many organ such as liver , lung , bone ,
spleen .than lodge in , to form what called hydatid cyst . They has been taken six month to
became hydatid cyst .the cyst in these organs lead to dysfunction or disorder of organ and also
pathological change will be found and eventually illness of the corpus being .

Structure of hydatid cyst:

common structure of hydatid cyst consist from external cyst wall , laminate , non cellular
layer and inner thin ,nucleated germinal layer , germinal layer generate what called brood
capsules , each brood capsules attach to germinal layer by slender stalk , the brood capsules
contain 10 to 30 protoscolices, if the brood capsules break up in the hydatid fluid , and sink in
to bottom bladder and called hydatid sand . the hydatid cyst still alive for 5-10 years or more .

Cysticercus cyst:

Cysticercus cyst is define as the cyst wall or bladder contain fluid and scolex invaginated in
to body of cyst . these cysts are found in many part of body such as cattle ,sheep , goat, horse ,
man , as consider intermediate host .

Definitive host:

the carnivorous regarded reservoir many tape worm( Taenia hydatigena, T. ovis , T.
pisiformis T. multiceps T. serialis T. taeniaeform ) that causes cysticercus cyst in intermediate
host but one all of them has been taken name for cysticercosis in order to identification .

 this worm expelled egg to environment after when the herbivorous pick up of the pollute
grass then six- tooth embryo penetrate intestine to another part of body such as momentum,(
liver, surface of intestine, lung, experimental infection ) the cysticercus may be stay long time
inner the body and cause several problem in organ from pathological change and disorder,
illness and loss the live being because the causes was unknown in many diagnostic mistake. T
hydatigenia is distribution as widely between the dogs (Al- Mahssin, 2009 )discover after
dissection of 93 dogs in Basra city 81 worm of T. hydatigenia between 78 has infection . also
they found out many of slaughter sheep , goat have been infection by cysticercus’s

Other cysticercus:

 Taenia ovis is tape worm settle in intestine of dog and stage of cysticercus ovis were found
in muscles of (heart, diaphragm )for the sheep. T. pisiformis causes cysticercus pisiformis in
peritoneum cavity of rabbits, T multiceps cause Coenurus cerbralis (Coenurus as define that cyst
have many scolex internally ) the cyst found in brain .

Figure 7– we can seen the buffalo grazing in area which pollute by faces of dogs and wolves
and wild pigs , this area is border between Iraq and Iran country , and the Um Al- rassas –
island

Conclusion:

1-The tape worm especially in dogs were as wide spread in Basrah city .

2- The eggs of tape worms were dangerous for public health and on animal and causes
economic losses thoroughly their found hydatid cyst and cysticercus cyst in organ of infection
animal or human being

2- The Iraq borders with other country play as important role to transmission many parasitical
infection by dogs or in buffalo ,

especially marsh Arab owners because as consider migrant from city to another city from time
to time, also the animals were not give completely study and what these animals are carried
somewhat another types of parasites.

3- In some pathological study of hydatid cyst and cysticercus types explain the degree of their
dangerous .

4- The stray dogs were cause troubles when contribution to spread the infection from area to
other area
