One (01) Position on Merit
Contract: 03 Years (extendable)
Lump Sum Package: Rs. 1,400,000/- per month with 05% annual increment
Qualification  Minimum Bachelors degree from HEC recognized University

Experience  Must hold a valid ATPL.


 Not less than 5000 Hrs as Pilot in-Command of Civil or Military Air Transport
Aircraft (above 20,000 Kgs).
 Flying experience on wide body aircraft required.
 Should have held previous appointment in Commercial Airline as
Examiner (SFE & TRE).
 At least 20 years of professional experience in the Aviation and should
have held appointments in operational management as an airline pilot
/ military transport pilot.
 Experience of working relationship with industry stakeholders and
international aviation organizations shall be given preference.
 Experience of carrying out statistical analysis of aviation activities and
monitoring of airlines reliability program shall be given preference
Knowledge  Broad knowledge of commercial air transport operations, Flight
Simulation Training devices, Meteorology and Climatology & Auditing
experience is desired.
 Knowledge of Civil Aviation Rules, ANOs, ICAO SARPs and other
applicable regulations is desired.
 Well versed in IT & MS Office application.
 Knowledge of State Safety Program (SSP) & Safety Management System
(SMS) is desired.
 Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS).
 Should be capable of assessing the effectiveness of operators, SMS and
level of resources allotted to it.
 Age  Maximum 62 years
Sr. No. 2 Flight Inspector Pilot (EG-07)
Five (05) Position on Merit
Contract: 03 Years (extendable)
Lump Sum Package: Rs. 1,200,000/-per month with 05% annual increment
Qualification  Minimum Bachelors degree from HEC recognized University
 Holding a valid ATPL with a current type rating on one of the Commercial /
Military Transport Aircraft Types registered in Pakistan
Experience  Not less than 5000 Hrs as Pilot in-Command of Civil or Military Air Transport
Aircraft.
 10 years or more experience in Commercial or Military Air Transport Aero
plane as a Pilot.
 Must have an adequate experience of working in an Airline or Military Air
Transport Organization.
 Should have held previous appointments in Commercial Airline as
Designated Examiner / Instructor (SFI / TRI / SFE / TRE).
 Experience in operational management would be preferred.
Desired Skills  Should have broad knowledge of Air transport Operations, Meteorology and
Climatology & auditing techniques.
 Experience with technical training & flight simulating training devices
including visual aids and synthetic training devices.
 Experience of carrying out statistical analysis of aviation activities and
monitoring of airlines’ reliability program.
 Extensive knowledge of Civil Aviation Rules, ANOs, ICAO SARPs and other
applicable regulations.
 Well versed with IT & MS Office application.
 Knowledge of State Safety Program (SSP) & Safety Management System.
 Experience in auditing techniques.
 Should be capable to conduct safety risk assessment of the operators.
Age  Maximum 62 years of age

Sr. No. 3 Flight Inspector Helicopter (EG-07)


One (01) Position on Merit
Contract: 03 Years (extendable)
Lump Sum Package: Rs. 650,000/- per month with 05% annual increment
Qualification  Graduate.
 Valid ATPL (Helicopter).
Experience  Minimum 4000 hours flying experience including at least 3000 hours on
helicopter.
 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command on Multiengine Helicopter.
 QHI / QFI / FI with at least 1000 instructional hours on helicopters.
 10 years operational experience in the Armed Forces or other Aviation
Organizations.
 Experience in operations management.
Desired Skills  Extensive knowledge of Civil Aviation Rules, ANOs, ICAO SARPs and other
applicable regulations.
 Well versed with IT & MS Office application.
 Knowledge of State Safety Program (SSP) & Safety Management System.
 Should be capable to conduct safety risk assessment of the operators.
Age  Maximum 57 Years (including all age relaxations).

Sr. No. 4 Flight Inspector (General Aviation) (EG-07)


Two (02) positions on merit (one for North & one for South)
Contract: 03 years (Extendable)
Lump Sum Pay Package: Rs. 750,000 per month (Gross) with 5% annual increment
Qualification  Graduate from HEC recognized university
 Valid ATPL
 Valid CPL + ATPL (frozen License) shall also be considered conditionally
 Qualified Flying Instructor from recognized Flying Training Institute (Civil /
Military)
Experience  Minimum 2500 Hrs of Flying Experience
 Minimum 1800 P-1 Flying Experience on Variety of Aircraft (Single and Multi-
Engine)
 Minimum 750 Hours of Instructional Experience
 Operational and Administrative Management
Knowledge  Knowledge of PCAA Rules and Regulations
 Knowledge of Safety Management System
 Should be capable to conduct safety risk assessment of the operators
Age  Maximum 57 years (including all age relaxations)

Sr. No. 5 Cabin Safety Inspector (EG-05)


One Position on Merit
Contract: 03 years (Extendable)
Lump Sum Pay Package: Rs. 265,000/- per month (Gross) with 5% annual
increment
Qualification  Graduate from HEC recognized university

 Valid Cabin Crew Competency Certificate (CCCC)


Experience
 Minimum 10 years operational experience of Airline as Cabin Crew member
with at least 02 years as Designated Check Cabin Crew (DCCC)
 Extensive knowledge of Civil Aviation Rules, Aviation Rules, ANOs, ICAO
SARPs and other applicable regulations.
Desired skills
 Well versed with IT & MS Office application.
 Knowledge of State Safety Program (SSP) & Safety Management System
(SMS).
Age  Maximum 57 years (including all age relaxations)

Terms of Reference

i) For the position mentioned at Serial no. 02, selected / appointed candidates at the point of separation,
owing to any reason, shall obtain No Objection Certificate (NOC) from PCAA, in case he / she intends
to join locally operating Airline / Aviation Organization.

ii) Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements or submitting incomplete application shall not be
considered.

iii) Test / Interview will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta for which
separate notices will be issued (depending on the number of candidates).

iv) The candidates to be called for the interview have to produce original documents for necessary
verification while appearing for the interview.

v) No TA / DA is admissible for test / interview.

vi) Appointment will be subject to CAA’s medical fitness standards.

vii) Selected candidates will be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan as per requirement of CAA

viii) Government servants / employees of autonomous bodies / corporations will be required to submit
NOC from current employer before interview.

ix) Misinformation and any attempt to influence the selection process will be considered as a definite
disqualification for current as well as future recruitment in CAA, even if the candidate is otherwise
qualified.

x) In case, any educational documents or any other document provided by the applicants is found
incorrect / fake / bogus at any stage, the services of selected candidate will be terminated immediately
and he / she will be blacklisted in future.
