    MODULE: SS02: THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD

    ACTIVITY

    Directions: Group yourself by fives, if not possible work independently.

    Conceptualize your perfect village, or your perfect town, or your perfect city or
    your ideal country. Identify the variables you wish to be in place in your village,
    say day care center, police station, grades school and advanced schools, etc.
    You may present your ideas in a drawing or pictures. This is worth 10 points.

    When considering our “perfectly city” the first thing we thought about was
    physical appearance. Our city would be clean and environmentally
    friendly, everyone would have adequate space for living. There would be
    designated space for parks, child-friendly spaces, and a city square.
    We also talked about the more administrative side of our perfect city. We
    decided that elected officials should make up the government. We believe
    that taxes should be used to fund public projects, schools, transportation
    system, and libraries.
