 Abstract

Our Aim is to design and create a data management System for a car
rental company. This enables admin can rent a vehicle that can be used by a
customer. By paying the money during a Specified Period of time. This system
increases customer retention and simplify vehicle and staff Management in an efficient
way. The transaction reports of the car rental system can be retrieved by the admin,
when its required. Thus, there is no delay in the availability of any car
information, whenever needed, car information can be Captured very quickly
and easily.

1.1 Motivations
Motivation is behind this project is to establish car rental service on e-commerce
platform. Business growth is the main purpose for this step. As we know that business
can be enhanced by using internet technologies, Customer convenience is the first
priority. I use to think that simple and non-complex system should be made so that
everyone can use it easily.

1.2 Project Overview

This project has been made by looking the problems faced by the customers during the car rental.
This project traverses a lot of areas ranging from business concept to computing field, and require
to perform several researches to be able to achieve the project objectives. The area covers include

Car rental industry

This includes study on how the car rental business is being done, process involved and
opportunity that exist for improvement.
Technology used for the development of the application.
General customers as well as the company's staff will be able to use the system
effectively.
Web platform means that the system will be available for access 2345 except when there
is a temporary server issue which is expected to be rare

To ensure the transparency in the car rental service. Sometimes it is seen that there is no
transparency. The individual who needs a car must contact a rental car company and contract out
for a vehicle. This system increases customer retention and simplify vehicle and staff
management.
