Case study of the Management and

Organisation of ADIDAS

Adidas is a German shoe, apparel and apparel company that also owns Reebok, Taylor Made and
Rockport. Adidas is Europe's largest sportswear company and second only to Nike as the world's
largest sportswear company. The company plays the identifiable logo in three parallel lanes with
ascending slopes.

Adidas was started by Adolf Dassler in 1924, but did not become a fully registered company until
1940. Its headquarters are located in Herzogenorach, Germany, the birthplace of its founder.
Although many believe that adidas means "I dream about football all day long", the name's true
origin comes from a combination of Adolf's nickname Adi and the first three letters of his last name.

Adidas specializes in the design and manufacture of footwear, sportswear, sports equipment and,
yes, even toilets, especially deodorant. However, the company first gained international recognition
at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, where it was decorated by US track star Jesse Owens.
Owens won four gold medals at the Games.

With a particularly articulated corporate strategy, the company must ensure that their corporate
structure is flexible and flexible for this strategy. Their objectives set out in the corporate strategy
are to ensure that the mission statement is translated into action and to direct and coordinate
decisions. Strategic goals do not have a well thought out purpose, but there is no structure and
integration to achieve these goals. The Adidas Group consists of four members, including one CEO
representing shareholders and three board members and six staff members. The Board of
Supervisors advises and oversees the management of the company. The role of the Board of
Supervisors is to ensure that the path and vision determined by the Executive Board is followed
directly from the top to those entrusted by other organizations to manufacture their products.

The strengths of ADIDAS are a strong management team and good corporate strategy in the North
American and foreign markets, brand recognition and reputation, diversity and diversity of products
offered on the web (footwear, apparel, sportswear, equipment, etc.), and its strict control. Strong
financial position with own distribution path, strong customer base and minimal long term debt. The
weakness of ADIDAS is the negative image represented by the poor service quality of its foreign
factories and e-commerce is limited to the United States.

planning

Planning is one of the most important project management and techniques. A plan is like a map,
when you follow a plan, you can always see how far you have progressed towards your project goal
and how far you are from your destination. Knowing where you are is essential to making good
decisions about where to go or what to do next. The most important thing is to make sure everyone
is clear about what needs to be done. The meaning of planning is to define the actions required to
achieve the objectives, depending on the situation. That is, the situation must be analyzed or
understood, and appropriate goals and actions taken to seize the opportunity and solve problems.
Basic management function involving the preparation of more than one detailed plan to achieve the
optimal balance of needs or demands with existing resources.
First, the planning process identifies the goals or objectives that need to be achieved and formulates
strategies to achieve them. Managers across the organization need to set goals, strategies, and
action plans for their workgroups that contribute to the success of the organization as a whole. It is
also important to plan your time, money or other resources to meet your needs during each activity.
With careful planning you can often see if you are likely to run into a problem at some point. It is
easier to make your plan to avoid a crisis than to deal with it when the unexpected time comes. For
example, Adidas plans to expand its operations in Europe, so they need advice from the German
government. They have been given the right to land in Paris and are awaiting further details from
the authorities. In addition, planning has a different meaning depending on the political or economic
context in which it is used. In order to design, two attitudes must be held in one hand by stress, and
we must be prepared for what may lie ahead, which means uncertainties and flexible processes.

One thing every manager can expect to evaluate is the extent to which he or she maintains the goals
or objectives of his or her unit. Whether it is a workgroup or a giant enterprise, the trust manager
intends to move the unit forward, which means visualizing where the unit should go and helping it
get there.
