Moving to a new place and starting over can be challenging. Also, having a dream that

back to high school. I faced many challenges as I was away from my family. I was in a new
country that was unfamiliar to me. I did not speak English and though many people speak

Throughout this time and from the things I have experienced, I have learned a lot such as
how difficult it is to be away from my family and my country. I also gained a lot from my
experiences because I became more independent. I learned to value many things and see things
differently such as understanding new ways methods to complete tasks. When working, I
difficult but I made sure to push myself every day to work hard so I could reach my goals. I am
currently on my last course at the Charter School of San Diego, and I am excited to be done
soon. After I graduate from high school, my goal is to take more English classes so I can get
better with understanding and speaking the language. I will also start to find out what I need to
do to enter the army and study medicine so I can continue with my dream of becoming a doctor.
