MORALITY
Definitions
LAW
Conforming to or permitted by law or stablished rules. Recognized or made effective
by a court of law as distinguished from a court of equity.
Legal principles are based on the rights of the citizens and the state expressed in the
rules. An action is permissible if it does not violate any of the written rules.
Law refers to the set of rules and regulations enforced by the system of a particular
country or community to regulate the human behavior in society whereas morality
refers to the ethical code of conduct for a human being.
Morality is dependent on your cultural background or personal upbringing. Both Legality and
Morality are heavily influenced by popular social thought, but morality is more independent and
reflective of personal choice.
Morality is a body or principles that attempt to define what is good and bad conduct.
Morality stands are the basis for the law while morality is ensured by living according to the law.
Both provide social organization, meaning that they shape how people behave and what is
considered socially acceptable.
They help people interact more cohesively and aim to protect individuals from harm.
