1. What is Community Service?

Community service refers to an act of volunteering done by a person or group of


people. It intends to help everyone as it is a great way to have a betterment society without
any form of compensation. Some examples are recycling programs, cleanup drives, tree
planting or planting projects, etc.

2. What are the benefits in Community Service?

Associating with community service acts comes up with a lot of benefits, including
the following:

• It awakens one's sense of responsibility and purpose. Also, it fulfills well-being as


it demonstrates the quotation of "giving back" and helping others.
• Enables the student to apply the educational learning to real-life tasks in
established events from it.
• Assists student meets personal interests and passions, which eventually lead to
being career-oriented.
• Developing one's holistic learning in terms of intellectual, physical, mental, and
emotional.
• Enriches lifelong communication and social abilities as being connected with
others. Consequently, a student tends to be broad-mindedness in diverse and
multiculturalism discourse.

3. What are the significance of Community Service?

Engaging with Community Service establishes essential factors for students,


namely:

• It develops students' lifelong learning, including leadership potential, and


enhances life skills and social abilities, which helps them succeed in the future.
• Foremost, students are capable of making a valuable impact in the world. It all
starts with developing a wealthy perspective of the world, applying academic
learning in real life, and prosperous education.
