Flying Car Flies from One City to Another
New technology means science fiction is becoming science fact. We have all seen
movies about a future with flying cars. This week, we saw a real one – the AirCar. It did a test
flight between two airports in Slovakia. It flew at a height of 2,500 metres and a speed of
185kph. The 90km journey took 35 minutes.
You can drive AirCar on public roads. It transforms into an airplane in less than three
minutes. The company's director landed it at Bratislava Airport during a recent test. He then
pushed a button to turn it into a sports car and drove it into the city. He said the flight was
"normal" and "very pleasant".

My Big Fear
My name is Julie, and summer is my favourite season because I can spend time with
my cousins. When the first day of summer arrived last year, I became worried because my
cousins said that they wanted us to go to a theme park in a neighbouring town to ride roller
coasters. I am afraid of heights, honestly!
While we were driving to the park, my cousins assured me that I didn’t have to go on
the roller coasters with them if I didn’t want to. When we arrived there, I decided to give one
of them a try and I had so much fun that I ran to the next roller coaster. I ended up conquering
my fear of heights and found a new love for roller coasters.
