Instruction:

1. Choose a topic from the list.

2. Based on the topic, develop the product by collecting info from any reliable resources.
3. Prepare a written report and a video that includes an Introduction, Methodology,
Concept of Product and Conclusion.
4. You do not need to develop the real product. A mini model or by using an interactive
video to explain the product should be enough.

a) Design auto water sprinkler: This project is related to fluid power to operate
an automatic water sprinkler at public parks and gardens. These water sprinklers are
usually in rotary motion and are used to water the plants in parks and gardens.
b) Rainwater into useful water: Can you introduce some device that is capable of
converting rainwater into useful drinking water? Just think about this idea and help
your community and your country with some innovative solutions.
c) Wastewater to useful energy: In this project, you are required to build a mechanism
to convert all wastewater into useful energy within a multi-story building/residential
house.
d) Water pumping system using wind power: This mechanical
engineering project idea is used to device a water pumping system that uses wind
energy for its operations.
e) Design a hydraulic chair: This is an engineering design project which is also related
to fluid mechanics. This project needs to design a comfortable chair using hydraulic
techniques.
f) Hydraulic weighing machines: Design a small-scale hydraulic weighing machine
that can be used to weigh trucks and heavy loads when fabricated for large-scale
applications.
