Water Resources Department-Localization of Singanamala tank and allocation of

1.00 TMC of HNSS Water from the Jeedipalli Reservoir through PABR Dam, MPR

Dam, MP South Canal, Penna river in order to feed the Singanamala tank to

stabilize the aycut and to aid the fishing community- Permission-Orders-Issued.

1) Representation of Smt. Jonnalgadda Padmavathy, MLA, Singanamala

Assembly Constituency, Ananthapuramu District, dated: 06.02.2020 and

dated.15.06.2020 dated: 28.11.2020 through Addl. Secretary to CM, vide

CMP.No.2205 of 2020 and CMP.No.1359 of 2020 and CMP.No.1056 of

2020.

2) From the Engineer-in-Chief (Irr), Water Resources Department,

Vijayawada, Letter No.ENC(I)/DCE-GDS/DEE2/AEE12/HNSS Ph-II/Vol.2,

dated:26.07.2021 and dated:21.10.2021.

ORDER:

In the reference 1st read above, Smt. Jonnalgadda Padmavathy, MLA,

Singanamala Assembly Constituency, Ananthapuramu District has requested the

Government to localization of Singanamala tank and allocate 1.00 TMC of water

from the TB HLC System (MPSC) through saving water in HLC system in order to

feed the Singanamala Tank to stabilize Ayacut and also to aid the subsistence of

Registered No. HSE-49/2016

NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT

The fishing community. The above CMP’s sent to the Engineer-in-Chief (Irr), Water
Resources Department, Vijayawada with a request to furnish his detailed report to

Government immediately.

2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Engineer-in-Chief (Irr), Water Resources

Department, Vijayawada has submitted his report and requested the Government

to allocate 1.00 TMC of HNSS water duly considering the transit losses @ 50% from

the Jeedipalli Reservoir through PABR Dam, MPR Dam, MP South canal, Penna river

in order to feed the Singanamala tank to stabilize MI tank ayacut and also to aid

the subsistence of the fishing community, as requested by the Hon’ble MLA, Smt.

Jonnalagadda Padmavathi, Singanamala Assembly Constituency.

3. Government after careful examination of the proposal and hereby accord

permission for allocation of 1.00 TMC of HNSS water duly considering the

transit losses @ 50% from the Jeedipalli Reservoir through PABR dam,

MPR dam, MP South canal, Penna river in order to feed the Singanamala

tank to stabilize MI tank ayacut and also to aid the subsistence of the

fishing community.

5. The Engineer-in-Chief (Irr), Water Resources Department, Vijayawada, shall take

necessary further action in the matter.
